Caffeine is a modpack containing decent collection of mods, Caffeine is focused on streamlining the game, designed to be simple and not include unnecessary performance or any mod add stuff, while providing a nice experience without ruining the vanilla experience too much, the modpack is on top of Additive so it will run quite well.
📥 Installation Guide
Please be sure to read the section of Sodium's wiki Driver Compatibility before installing Caffeine. It contains some important notes on how to avoid crashes and other performance issues.
You can install the modpack with a third party launchers like Prism Launcher, Modrinth App or ATLauncher.
After installing the modpack, you can easily add your favorite mods, resource packs, or shaders as long as they are compatible with the version of Minecraft you are playing!
⭐ Features
UI improvements
Caffeine will make Minecraft's interface easier and less confusing to play without changing the essence of the game, and will partially try to simulate the basic interface of bedrock and satisfaction with sound mods. so in short Caffeine will replace the game's interface with user-friendly ones to make the game easier to understand.
A few graphical improvements
We focus on capturing a more visually appealing image, with rain effects, the beauty of the other effects, and the effects of the bomb explosion, aiming to achieve this without overly compromising the vanilla appearance.
Sound enhancements
The sounds echos, you can hear the wind blowing and the leaves rustling in the trees, your footsteps make a sound, you can hear the raindrops falling on the roof and you can hear satisfying sounds on the interface.
✅ Hardware Compatibility
Caffeine supports the use of graphics cards with drivers compatible with OpenGL 4.6. Most graphics cards released in 2010 or later are compatible. This includes the hardware listed below:
Intel HD Graphics 500 Series (Skylake) or newer
Nvidia GeForce 400 Series (Fermi) or newer
AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series (GCN 1) or newer
In some cases, older graphics cards may work (as long as they have drivers that support OpenGL 3.3), but they are not officially supported and may not be compatible in the future.
Android devices that use OpenGL translation layers (such as GL4ES, ANGLE, etc.) are not supported and are unlikely to work with Caffeine's set of mods. These translation layers do not implement the required functionality and suffer from underlying driver bugs that cannot be worked around.
If you are experiencing problems, make sure your video drivers are up to date. I also recommend taking a look at this page on the Sodium wiki.
Most of this is taken from the Adrenaline's hardware compatibility section. I'll update this if anything changes.
